Matt Perkins is cranking out poetry over on his blog so I feel the pressure to delve into some poetrizations of my own.
Check this out.

“Warning”
(an original poem by Jason Queen)
If you don’t go to church
You’ll be left in a lurch
And you’ll feel like a bird without a perch.
Thank you. Thank you. I feel drained now. Writing poetry really does take every emotion right out of you. What a cathartic moment…
If I’ve inspired you at all with my poetry, please feel free to drop me a line but please don’t request more poems because I really do view the above as my opus. And when you’ve created a masterpiece, it is sometimes very wise to just end your career with perfection.
